Problem Note 54943: "java.lang.StackTraceElement-java.lang.NullPointerException" might be generated due to null values in MPLN_ACTUAL_MTS table

In SAS® Markdown Optimization, the following error message might be generated in the Markdown Approvals view or the Markdown Active Plans view:
An error occurred in SAS Merchandise Intelligence.
Restart or Exit the application.
The first two lines of the detailed error message visible when you click the Show Details button are:
java.lang.NullPointerException at com.sas.solutions.di.server.mdo.ConfigHelper.populatePercentageMetrics(ConfigHelper.java:555)
This issue occurs when actualized metrics are NULL at the view's aggregation level. Actualized metrics are NULL for any product/location that did not become active until AFTER the plan start date for the plan periods in which it was inactive. Aggregated metrics that include these product/locations might NOT be NULL depending on the other product/locations included in the aggregation.
There is no workaround for this issue.
